Hi, well as you can guess I am Barry Moir, a wedding and portrait photographer based the busy town of Kirkcaldy in Fife, Scotland, and a qualified Licenciate Master Photographer with the MPA

Having been professional now for over four years it is without a doubt the most satisfying and rewarding job someone can do.

I currently run a small studio in Kirkcaldy’s Indoor Market on the High street and last year over 300 portrait clients passed through, as well as lots of commercial work.  My main passion is baby and bump photographs, as babies grow up so quickly, I find it important to capture these precious fast moments because before you know it your baby is a toddler and you wonder where time has gone.

Weddings are very important to me though; there is not a better job in world, photographing families and the bride and groom on their most special of days.  It is the one day you can forget about what life has to throw at you, and the most important thing in your life is making your commitment to the one you love in front of families and friends.

My photography is fun, relaxed and hopefully shows lots of emotion. Having completed over 210 weddings, both locally and further afield in places such as  Gretna Green, Bristol, Inverness and Manchester and mainly around the central belt of Scotland, I believe it is a job that you cannot get bored at, is never the same and is just so much fun.
