On Friday I was at Garfield House Hotel in Stepps for the wedding of Vikki and Rob. A truly wonderful day with a lovely couple I had only met on the day but chatted online prior to the wedding. Vikki and Rob had a beautiful ceremony and although the weather was not the greatest Vikki was a complete star heading out to do photographs in 3 degrees and rain. Thank you so much for a lovely day xx

Yesterday I was at the Kingswood Hotel, a nice secluded hotel between Kinghorn and Burntisland for the wedding of Danielle and Mark who’s original photographer sadly passed away a couple of months ago. As usual Rankin and his wife who own the hotel run the day seamlessly and the weather was slightly chilly but no wind, rain, snow, hail so we got outside for some photographs. Danielle and Mark were fantastic as were their bridal party with much humour and laughter. I wish both of you a lifetime of happiness and fun guys xx

On Saturday I was over in Edinburgh at the Principal Hotel (known as the George Hotel) in the centre of the city with Suzanne and Vinny. We had a fabulous day out and around the streets for their photographs and the grandure of the huge hall in the hotel where they were married. Family and friends were just fantastic with so much laughs and hilarity all day. I hope you have a great honeymoon guys, it was a pleasure to be with you all on your special day.

Diane and Stuart were married at the lovely Orocco Pier that overlooks the Forth Bridges, with a beautiful humanist ceremony.  The day went without a hitch with Diane and her bridesmaid and friend getting ready at the hotel, we had lee Richardson the videographer on hand doing the wedding video and Steven Dewar from Scotia Pipers doing the ceilidh and piping.  The weather was fantastic for a February and i also had my lovely wife helping out as we had a plan for the evening.  I wanted hopefully the first couples photo taken in front of the new Queensferry crossing thats just about complete so off we went in dark time, posed them up on the rocks and after falling into a rockpool we nailed the photographs i was looking for.  Thank you both for a wonderful amazing day in a way you will never know.

The first wedding of 2017 saw Laura and Gareth getting married at Springfield Church near Cupar and then onto the Balgeddie House Hotel in Glenrothes, we started with getting ready at Laura’s grans house and then i headed off to the church to await the arrival of Gareth and the lads.  The weather was terrible and cold but nobody bothered about this, we arranged with the church to stay back to do any formal photographs.  Laura and Gareth’s little boy Jack was the star of the show, smiles all day and loved having his photograph taken.  A lovely first wedding with a fantastic couple

Michelle and Chris were married at Ballingry Parish Church, then onto the Lochore institute for their reception, we stopped in down at Lochore meadows for some lovely photographs around the pond before heading to the side of the Loch for some amazing landscape photography with them.  The weather was stunning and a groom that had obviously been practising his side on look for photos.  Another great day had with everyone and again it was nice to meet Brian and Lindsay, Brian being Michelle’s brother, whos wedding I did around 5 years ago.  So nice to see everyone again.
